Ms. Buchanan, your child's science teacher, has asked the PTO to fund her shark and quid dissection program once again this year. She is keen on giving the students a hands-on experience when discussing anatomy, organs, and how they function in the real world. This program is fully funded by contributions from our families; the school itself is not involved. Without donated funds, the PTO would not be able to elevate our kids' learning experience year after year.
The English Department also invites a local author to speak to the 6th graders about the writing process. This program is very generously sponsored by William's Be Yourself Challenge. Thank you to the WBYC team for their support and enthusiasm for this programming.
The Curriculum Enrichment programs and our ability to gift our faculty with what they need to excel is part of what puts Carlisle Public Schools head and shoulders above other public schools.
