Adding PTO Gmail to Your Apple or Outlook Email
You can have your PTO Gmail forwarded to your personal email - which means that all of the email correspondence sent to your PTO gmail will automatically come to you in an email account that you designate with the PTO Secretary. This is a great ay to be sure that you don't miss any emails - and you won't ever have to open your PTO Gmail as everything will come to your designated account.
Or you can have your PTO Gmail account added to your own home email as an added mailbox. This means that the PTO Gmail will stay in the Gmail account and the Gmail account will sit on your computer - as part of your inbox. To change the mailbox title from GOOGLE to your own title…
Or you can have your PTO Gmail account added to your own home email as an added mailbox. To have your PTO Gmail account come to your MAC email…
- Open your email account
- Click on MAIL in the top toolbar
- Choose ADD ACCOUNT from the drop down menu
- Choose GOOGLE
- Click OKAY
- Enter your PTO Gmail Address
- Enter your PTO Gmail account password
- Click ACCEPT
- Click Mail
- Click OKAY
To change the mailbox title from GOOGLE to your own title…
- Click on MAIL in the top toolbar
- Choose ACCOUNTS from the drop down menu
- Click on the GOOGLE account in the white area on the left of the pop up
- Click on DETAILS in the top right corner of the pop up
- Enter the DESCRIPTION as you would like the mailbox to appear under your inbox
- Click OKAY
- Close the Internet Accounts pop up
