Help us CULTIVATE a community of young environmentalists, scientists, engineers, and artists.
Together we can INNOVATE and create academic enrichment opportunities focused on healthy nutrition, language arts and STEAM concepts. Our GOAL is to work with the school community to provide innovative methods to EDUCATE students through the natural world. Providing environmental awareness through exploration and personal discovery. The BENEFITS are endless: sensory learning, social emotional learning, teamwork, creativity, academic interest, environmental stewardship and more. |

Mission
The CPS Garden was launched in 2010 as a collaborative initiative involving students, staff, parents and community members. About us
About Us
Today, the CPS Garden is a growing educational garden that will complement the school curriculum. Partnerships with teachers in science, technology, art, environmental studies, nutrition, and health are in exciting stages of development. Such interdisciplinary approaches cultivate the talents of all students while enriching observation and leadership skills.
An educational garden that promotes environmental awareness, offers vital experience in problem-solving, and encompass health and wellness concepts.
The Carlisle Public School Garden is a volunteer-run program that is funded by grants and the fundraising efforts of our volunteers and community members.
We need your financial support to get the garden in ‘growing’ shape. Please consider donating to the school garden.
The PTO is a 501 (c) organization. All donations are tax deductible.

Phase One: Completed
After several harsh New England winters, the Garden was beginning to deteriorate. A group of community volunteers joined committee members on a crisp fall day to demo the space to make way for a spring build. Next up: fundraising to secure materials and talent to rebuild the garden and continue developing curriculum plans with teachers.
Phase two: Underway
With the support of our community partners, we are now able to schedule a build date of mid-May. After an extensive vendor search, the Committee selected Acton Food Forest (AFF) as our implementation and strategic Garden partner. Jess at AFF will assist with layout, implementation, build and overall consulting on all things grown in soil!
