1st Grade
This year, First Graders will be studying those early Americans that came over on the Mayflower. Your teachers have asked us to bring educators from Plimoth and Pawtucket Reservation into their classrooms to amplify these lessons. This program is fully funded by contributions from our families; the school itself is not involved. Without donated funds, the PTO would not be able to elevate our kids' learning experience year after year. A visit from Plimoth Plantation can bring these lessons to life in a way no movie or book is able to.
The Curriculum Enrichment programs and our ability to gift our faculty with what they need to excel is part of what puts Carlisle Public Schools head and shoulders above other public schools. Many of us gravitated towards Carlisle for the exemplary curriculum standards, dedicated faculty, and innovative administration. The PTO's programs are a part of their success story.
